Making an Offer

Offers are initiated by buyers where they propose a certain amount to an item that is lower than the listed price. These are agreed upon between a buyer and a seller, and once accepted, the transaction is processed automatically.

How does Making an Offer work for buyers?

Buyers have the option to Make an Offer to an item no less than 40% of the listed price. These are considered as a normal sale and are guaranteed once an Offer is accepted by the seller.

How long should I wait once an Offer is submitted?

Sellers have 3 days to either accept or reject an Offer, and if a seller does not respond within that period, the Offer will be automatically cancelled.

Why is my Offer rejected?

Sellers always have the option to reject an Offer if they don’t agree on the price, however in  some cases, the item may no longer be available, the condition has changed, or they have changed their mind.

If the seller has not agreed to the Offer, they have the option to message you and negotiate a different price.

The seller and I agreed to a different price that is not the listed amount. How do I change the Offer amount?

An Offer cannot be countered, nor cancelled by both parties once accepted. However, buyers can submit another Offer and let the seller know to accept.

I have submitted an Offer and the seller accepted, however, I changed my mind and want to cancel.

Once an Offer is accepted, it can no longer be cancelled by a buyer directly. Please contact our Customer Service Team and we will help issue a refund for you

Offer has been accepted, however, the payment could not be processed

There are several issues why some payments fail and in some cases, it could be because:

  • Payment information entered are incorrect
  • There is no sufficient balance to continue processing payments
  • Account has not yet been verified by Stripe (our payments processor

Please feel free to contact our Customer Service Team so we can help investigate further, and identify what could be causing the failure of your payment.

In some cases, buyers may have missed clicking “Item Received” on their dashboard. This triggers the transfer of payment after an item has been successfully delivered. Unless a dispute is opened, feel free to contact us and we can manually do this from our end.
